Location: West Virginia School for The Deaf and Blind Auditorium, North Antigo Pl., Romney, West Virginia

A $25.00 application fee ($5 discount if multiple children registered) includes a dress type of choice. The Competition is open to West Virginia residents only. Unsportsmanlike behavior will not be tolerated. The Stage will be set up in a “T” formation. Doors will open at 3:30 pm for instruction on the process for the pageant. The first division will begin at 5:00 pm. If there are not enough contestants in each age group, we will combine them. There will be a winner in each age group: the winner will receive crown, sash, and flowers. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Runner up will receive a trophy.

Age Groups Are: 

• Baby Peach: 0-23 Months

• Peach Fuzz: 2-3

• Peach Blossom: 4-5

• Little Peach: 6-7

• Prince Peach: 0-6

• Princess Peach: 8-10

• Pre-Teen Peach:11-12

• Peach Queen: 13-16

• Peach King: 7 – 12

 

Candidates will be judged in formal dress wear (dress wear of choice)

Spectator Fee: $5.00, Contestants and children under 4 are free to watch the pageant.

Rules and Regulations

Candidates must be between the ages of 0-16 by the day of the competition. Proof of age may be requested.

    The age group will depend on the candidate’s age on the day of the competition.

1. Candidates will be judged in formal dress wear (dress wear of choice)

2. Clothing with inappropriate slogans or illustrations will not be permitted.

3. Parents and guests will have to pay a spectator fee of $5.00. Children under 4 years old are free.

4. Scoring will be on poise, posture, personality, projection, and overall appearance.

5. Poor sportsmanship will not be tolerated.

6. The deadline to enter is July 22nd, 2023.

7. Applications received after July 22nd, 2023, will be accepted with a late fee of $10.00.

8. $25.00 registration fee Dress wear.

9. We are not responsible for lost or damaged items.

10. The Winners are required to be in the Peach Festival Parade, Saturday at 11:00 am, the lineup will be at 10:00 am.

 

* We ask that Winners please be present at the end of the West Virginia Peach Pageant for a group photo.

 

* You and your child agree to not hold the West Virginia School for the Deaf and Blind School, the Miss Peach Festival pageant, affiliates, volunteers, and directors responsible for any dents or injuries that may occur.
