2023 History Alive Application

The WV Peach Festival hours are: Friday 10 am to 9 pm Saturday 9 am to 9 pm Sunday 11 am to 5 pm

West Virginia Peach Festival Guidelines:

  1. Contracts/applications are due with full payment by July 15, 2023.

  2. Contracts are accepted and processed on a first-come-first-served basis based on the online application date and or postmark.
    Spaces will be assigned when all completed paperwork and full payment has been submitted.

  3. All vendors are required to stay for the entire festival and have representatives at your space during all hours of the event each day. Friday will be an optional day for attendance.

  4. Spaces will be preassigned and emailed to you prior to the event.

  5. Space set up starts at 7:00 and must be completed by 9:30 am on Friday, August 4, 2023. After 9:30, no vehicles will be permitted on the grounds prior to Sunday at 5:00 when the festival closes. Late vendors will be set up in the overflow.

  6. Changes to the set-up location will not be made on the days of the event. If you have any specific needs, please indicate them in your Contract and we will do our best to accommodate you.

  7. One vendor per space. A vendor or proxy must host the display.

  8. Vendors are required to dispose of their trash daily. A dumpster will be located on the campus grounds. Trash must be compacted, flatten containers, break down boxes, placed in a heavy-duty trash bag, and tied shut.

  9. No vehicles will be allowed on the grounds during festival hours, except for loading and unloading.

  10. This is a rain-or-shine event, be prepared for the current weather.

  11. The WV Peach Festival Committee reserves the right to dismiss vendors for inappropriate wares, behavior, or customer interactions. Dismissal from this event will result in the loss of any and all privileges to return to future events.

  13. NOTE: YOU ARE REQUIRED TO STAY WITHIN YOUR ASSIGNED AREA. All vendors are required to keep a 3’ space between canopies open and clear in case of emergency.

  14. Vendors using generators will be placed in outer spaces due to fumes created by the generators.

  15. The vendor Parking lot will be available and can be found on the festival map. Vendors will be given a Parking Pass to display in the vehicle. Vehicles without Passes will be towed at the owner’s expense.

By signing this Contract to participate as a vendor in the 10th Annual WV Peach Festival for August 4th, 5th & 6th, all parties acknowledge and agree that the West Virginia Peach Festival, Scholl of the Deaf & Blind, Town of Romney, or any persons affiliated with these entities, will not be held responsible for theft, loss and/or damage to any property, or liable for injury to any participant. Vendor is responsible for adhering to all RULES set forth in this
document.
